Watch your email a little more closely when you transfer... you'll want to make sure you don't delete an important email. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 I will echo what Jack said and add, "Start early." There is no advantage or need to wait until just before the domain expires. The transfer fee includes a one year extension of the registration and is added to the current expiration date and not when you do the transfer. I have seen a number of cases where folks try to transfer the last week or so before expiration and then the other registrar refuses to approve. Quote
