llama_thumper Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 Hello, My Dad is trying to use his outlook to send emails (duh:). He is able to succesfully email everyone but two people and gets back this message: -----Original Message----- From: System Administrator Sent: sunday 14 september 2003 16:26 To: 'joeschmo@mg.gov.pl' Cc: 's.redo@unodc.org' Subject: Undeliverable: whats up? TCH-Don Posted September 14, 2003 Posted September 14, 2003 Can you check to see that authentication is on My Server requires authentication, checked in the server tab, in outlook. Quote
goatgirl Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Hi, I have this problem every once in a while also. I use Eudora and "Allow authentication" is NOT checked. What is the problem exactly and who's server is rejecting the message? Thanks GG Quote
TCH-Andy Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 llama thumber There have been a number of suggestions above, and a number of questions asked. I for one am not certain what the current problem is. Do you have "My Server requires authentication", checked in the server tab? Who are the two servers / people that can not be reached? What is your server than you (your dad) are sending from? Does it always happen with these two servers? or is it occasional? Andy Quote
llama_thumper Posted September 29, 2003 Author Posted September 29, 2003 solution was: "my server requires auth." "use same settings as incoming server". solved! (at least it seems so...) Quote
