Server 26

Yesterday evening, I was using the chat room on my site with one other person. After being in the chat room for about 5 minutes, both of us were cut off from the connection and immediately a white page with

Cannot find server or DNS Error

Internet Explorer

appeared. I thought it would just be temporary so did not report it last night. But when I tried to go back in this morning, it still gives the same response. The site is up and running, just the chat has a problem.

 

Wasn't sure this was the place to post or not.

Hi Sam,

 

Sorry I moved this as this is the place for it to go. Server 26 is responding correctley to all tests that I have subjected it too, thus I will make a lead Admin aware of this problem.

I just checked the chat again, still can't get in. What should I do?

After having a think, could you please start a help ticket and we shall get an admin to look at it just to check that everything is set up ok

I tested it again tonight when I got home and strangely, it is working ok again....

 

Should I still open a help ticket or let it drop for now??

Sam,

 

Could you keep an eye on this, and next time it fails, please do a tracert for us, and then start a help ticket ASAP so we can catch it in action. Its most likely to be a connection problem with your ISP and the way it routes some traffic.

I will be going into the hospital on friday and away from computers for a couple weeks. When I return I will do as you suggest.
