Questions About Reseller Features.

I've looked over your offer and I'm interested in purchasing one of your resellers accounts.

But first I want you to clear my questions regarding some of the features/practices that I didn't find explained on your site (maybe I've missed it).

 

1. Do you have reseller accounts that use Private Name Servers? (we'll you give me 2 ips for that, right?). And for the private name servers can be used domain name others than .com?

 

2. Can I define hosting packages in the WHM interface that comes with unique ips? You lent ips and if the answer is yes what are the selling price / month?

 

3. My defined packages will have ssh enabled (or I'll be able to select this option from WHM interface) or do you enable ssh access per requests basis? And if you enable it on request basis there are any fee involved?

 

4. What is happening if my reseller bandwidth limit is reached? You'll notice me, notice my clients, I'll have to notice my clients... ?

 

5. What is happening if one of my hosting user site use all it's bandwidth quote? You'll notice me, notice my client, I'll have to notice my client... ?

 

6. What is happening if, as a reseller, I set my defined package bandwidth limit (quote) as my reseller account bandwidth limit. Can I sell how many packages I want (with the knowledge that if my entirely bandwidth will be depleted than all my hosting sites will be down) or I can sell only one package and that is all. I don't know if I was very clear... Due the fact the most of the users don't use all the bandwidth limit they have, I want to understand if you allow me a dynamic allocation of my reseller bandwidth through out my packages.

In other words, if I have a reseller account that have bandwidth limit of 20Gb and I define a hosting package with 20Gb bandwidth limit, I can sell only one package or how many I want?

 

7. And with the same idea in my mind as for the question 6 from above, is it possible, as a reseller to set my packages bandwidth quote to be unlimited (of course limited in practice by the limit of my reseller plan) or do I have to set a specific quote?

 

8. Can I see a phpinfo.php on one of your servers so I can see what modules/extensions are installed with Apache server ? If not can you, at least, to present me the "Configure Command" section (the one with './configure' '--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs' '--with-xml' '--enable-bcmath' '--enable-calendar' '--with-curl' '--enable-ftp' '--with-gd' '--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local' '--with-png-dir=/usr/local' '--with-xpm-dir=/usr/X11R6' '--with-imap' '--with-imap-ssl' '--with-kerberos' '--enable-mbstring' '--enable-mbstr-enc-trans' '--enable-mbregex' '--with-mcrypt' '--with-ming=../ming-0.2a' '--enable-magic-quotes' '--with-mysql' '--with-pear' '--enable-sockets' '--enable-track-vars' '--with-ttf' '--with-freetype-dir=/usr' '--enable-gd-native-ttf' '--enable-versioning' '--with-zlib' '--with-pdflib', etc.) from the phpinfo() function?

Also the safe_mode option is default on "off"?

 

9. I'll be able to park/point how many domains I want?

 

10. I'll have access at the dns zones? I'll be able to modify an MX zone for a specific domain hosted on my account from WHM interface?

 

11. The wildcard dns feature will be enable (at least if I'll requested for some of my hosting users)?

 

12. On cPanel do you have the cPanel X theme that can be customized?

 

 

For the moment I think this is all I know that I put a lot of questions here but If you can answer me in detail please do it and help me to take a decision.

Apart from the basic reseller account, yes, and yes. Otherwise you can always use our own reseller name servers which have no branding on them.

Yes you can do, although I don't know the price of IPs

If your limit is reached, your account becomes suspended. You should receive a warning at 80%. If your customers go over, there account becomes suspend too and you will have to deal with it. Remember, you can not sell short on bandwidth space.

Nope thats all upto you, as noted above, there account will become suspended until you unsuspend it.

You must only sell what you have, you cant sell dynamically. E.g. if you have 10 gig of bandwidth for all of your accounts, all the accounts alloted bandwidth must add upto 10 gig, you can't oversell knowing that they won't use it all up.

If you did this, you would need 1 reseller package for every account.

As there is no such thing as "unlimited" you should mention how much bandwidth there is. Saying "unlimited" is the quickest way to get a user who will use up your bandwidth allowance within a day!
