llama_thumper Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Hi there, Apologies in advance if this is the wrong sub-forum: I'm looking for a guestbook that I can install on my dad's website, for anyone who visits it to write an entry. To avoid spam-bots, I'd like to have control over what gets posted. Cpanel used to have a script for this but doesn't anymore - does anyone have any recommendations for a simple (in installation) guestbook somewhere? Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Actually one of members, carbonize, has created a really good guestbook called Lazurus which can be installed to moderate posts. Quote
sheryltoo Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I know this is an old post and I see there's still a site called Lazurus which I joined but I have no clue where to start in setting up a guestbook. Do I need to create a database? Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 I haven´t used it in a long time, but as far as I remember, you will need to set up a database for it. Carbonize, the author of Lazarus guestbook is a member of the TCH forums, so hold on and he will probably be around some time to answer your questions, or you can contact him by PM. Quote
