angel1 Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Hi, Everyone. Have a question - hope someone can help. I have a web address that points to a subdirectory on my website. The web address is www.healingvibes.net and it's been working well until yesterday (at least that's when I found it wasn't working). It points to www.boulderhealers.com/healingvibes/ and has been doing so for quite some time. Now when I click on the link, it goes to the dreaded 'This page cannot be displayed' page. Ugh!! The name is registered with GoDaddy, and I checked to make sure it's set to forward correctly, and it is. Hellllppp!! This is a site with a seasonal newsletter that is about to be updated. My main site is www.boulderhealers.com Thanks in advance for any help. Love and light, Angela Quote
TCH-Rick Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 The address is resolving for me after I refreshed a few times. There is a problem, however, in that what you are doing is in violation of the Acceptible Use Policy. We do not support nor allow pointing additional domains to subdomains unless the site is a reseller account. The relevant section follows: Web Sites TotalChoice Hosting provides storage space and access for web sites through its Web services. TotalChoice Hosting will not routinely monitor the contents of your web sites. You may only host one domain per virtual account; resellers are allowed to host unlimited domains. Quote
angel1 Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 Oops. Sorry. Didn't realize it at the time. I've had that name for quite a while pointing to a freebie on Tripod, and when I moved my site to TCH, just moved that on too. Since it's all part of a whole - I just didn't associate the differences- will fix. Still - can't get the page to come up. Tried refreshing many time, but still the - cannot find server - page. Thanks for the help. Appreciate it. Love and light, Angela. Quote
