Dennis Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Hi, Is the Cpanel's submission to search engine any good? Does anyone has any experience to share? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 My personal view is that it's better to get links to your site and encourage "google" and others to find it. I would prefer to personally submit to any search engines rather than use an automated system, which the search engines don't always like, and are not tailored to each search engine. Quote
TCH-Sales Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 It does the job, but as Andy said to do the job better you might consider doing it by hand instead. To make sure all the details are to your liking. Quote
borfast Posted August 26, 2003 Posted August 26, 2003 Actually, I found it to have a few problems, as it doesn't correctly submit the website to every search engine available as an option. Most of the results come up as error codes from the search engines' website. Perhaps it's time CPanel.com to take a look at this. So, as Mitch and Jim already said, it's better to submit your sites by hand Quote
Dennis Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 Okie, would do it manually as that seems to be the better option. Thanks all Quote
