KevinW Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I was recently told of the following utility (from REL Software) which will check your web site for broken links. They have both a free version and a fairly inexpensive ($27) full version. You download the software and install on your PC, and then run it against your web site. To download the software, go to: http://www.relsoftware.com/ And here are the super simple, 'quick start' instructions to get you going: Step 1. Launch the program. Step 2. Select View -> Web Site Verification (). Step 3. Press New (). Step 4. Enter a URL into the URL Field as you would in your web browser and press Start. Important: If you select a HTML folder then it is important to put a '/' at the end of the folder address. For example, you should use: http://www.relsoftware.com/wlv/ not http://www.relsoftware.com/wlv Step 5. After checking the links, close Web Site Verification Process window. HTH! -kw Quote
