Problem With Ultimate Formmail

Yesterday the ultimate form mail stopped working on one of my sites.

 

Instead of sending the form it said

 

The script has expired!

 

Has something changed at TCH because the script shouldn't expire?

 

Plus I thought my license had expired so bought a new one and have uploaded the latest ufm to my website.

 

In test mode it works but in real mode I get this:

 

Message could not be sent. Mailer Error: Language string failed to load: instantiate

 

Anyone know what's happening here?

I don´t think anything has changed on the servers, but you could submit a ticket with the help desk to make sure everything works as it should on your server. Link on top of page and in my signature.

 

If that doesn´t help solving this I would contact the author of the script.

Have contacted author of script who says nothing should have stopped it working like that unless something changed at server level.

Quick update - TCH fixed this for me and I'm back in business.

 

I'm still working out what the problem was, but it was script related not a seerver issue and still TCH came to the rescue.

 

As the saying goes, TCH rocks!

This is just an idea, but I think you should tell the author this when you find out what the problem was so he knows what to tell others if they ask him.

Hi there, I was having this same issue so I upgraded to the newest version of UFM and everything appears to be working now, EXCEPT that I'm not getting emails from the form: I get the "thanks.php" page but then no mail arrives... I've got it set up correctly and am using sendmail() - which is what I was using before I started getting the errors - but I get nothing.

 

Is this something TCH might help me with? I've got two client sites that are having this problem and they're getting antsy.

You can certainly ask the help desk if they can help, since they as I understand, figured out the solution for georgem a few posts above this one.
