Joomla Problems: Bogus National Characters

I would like to ask about one strange problem.

My site- talonai*com - uses Joomla. As I add new lsitings to my site, sometimes Lithuanian national characters disappear. After some time - or after loging out and logining in - they appear again.

after performing "log-out, then log-in":

The funny thing is:

1) I don't know where this weird problem come from. it used to be on my old host. It sometimes appears at Totalchoice;

2) I don't know how to fix it. Server problem? Hardly. Scripts problem: then why does it appear sometimes, not all the time?

 

Anyone has any ideas?

First thing I would check is it´s set to the correct locale in the admin. I currently don´t have a joomla site so I can not check where in the admin it´s located.

 

If that is set correct, I would check with the people in the lithuanian section of the joomla forums if someone else have this problem. Since it happened at the old host too I doubt it´s a TCH-related problem.
