OnlineAutorama Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to see a log of all IP address from people who have visited my website in the last week or longer somewhere inside the cPanel? I want to block a person who has been taking graphics from the site. Thank You for your help. Jim Quote
TCH-Andy Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 If you go into the stats pages, you can see the most common IP's hitting your site this month. If you want to see all IP's you would need to download the raw access log file, and obtain the data from that ( it's a big text file, that includes the IP address of all hits). Quote

OnlineAutorama Posted January 9, 2008 Author Posted January 9, 2008 (edited) Hmm,... So if i want to try and block an IP address, Do i just use the Numbers or the whole thing like this example "pool-71-98-220-160.tampfl.dsl-w.verizon.net" Also,... Is there a way to get their IP if that person has sent an email to me? Jim Edited January 9, 2008 by OnlineAutorama Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 You just enter the numbers. However that looks like a dynamic IP address and will possibly change. You can find the IP address of the email sent to you by looking at the headers of the email. Quote

I guess theres really no way of knowing if it actually worked or not is there? Jim Edited January 9, 2008 by OnlineAutorama Quote
