442GlenwoodAvenue
About four years ago, there was a female member who gave a link to some of her mp3 Christmas music. Normally you had to pay for her music, but she posted the link as a favor to this board. She had a nice voice and had a Christmas CD - and a website for fans. I've still got one of those Christmas mp3s, but have forgotten who she was. I'm sure someone will remember her name?
webgyrl
I think that might have been me? I have some of the music here, so hopefully that will help refresh your memory if it was indeed me: h**p://myspace.com/acoolchristmas Hope this is the right match! 442GlenwoodAvenue
Wow, I wasn't expecting to get an answer from the mystery artist herself. Yes Natalie it was you. Mystery solved. I still listen to those mp3s around this time of the year. Glad to see you're still here. Thanks.
webgyrl
Yes, I'm still around. Not as much as I was, but I poke my little nose in from time to time. Glad the mystery has been solved. The album is still available from that page and my site. Hope all is well with you and yours. Glad the music left an impression after all these years. I'm releasing a new project next year... two in fact... a new Christmas album and a regular one. So it's been crazy busy with working! Sadly, someone told me about Don passing and I happened to be reading this forum tonight and I saw this topic. Still trying to fathom Don not being here. TCH-Thomas
Nat, Just a quick note to let you know that I have deactivated the link to your myspace profile.
webgyrl
Hey Thomas! Thanks for doing that. I probably should have PMed it! Sorry, wasn't quite in my right mind at that moment. Merci!

Thankfully enough of the link was available for me to take a look and have a listen. Not really the right time of year to listen to Christmas music, but what an awesome voice! BTW: I lived in Gaithersburg (mentioned on the web site) for a while, working with one of the IT companies in Bethesda. Fond memories. Will keep the link, and look out for more of your work. Hi Swift! Thanks so much for having a listen. To me, it's Christmas every day! LOL Oh wow, that's cool you were in Bethesda. It's a fun place to hang out now as they have a cute little 'downtown'. Where are you now? New music coming in the Spring, so pls. feel free to sign up for the mailing list. The link to it is on that page you visited. I really appreciate the comment. Have a super Saturday!
Swift
Where are you now? After a little more wandering around the world I ended up in (of all places) Birmingham in the UK. The company I worked with was on Democracy Boulevard - not far from Montgomery Mall - so I spent quite a lot of time in and around there. Usually lunchtimes indulging in one of my favourite pastimes - eating . I mostly used to hang out around (and above) Gaithersburg airfield. I never did get that pilots licence, though. Too many aircraft carrier style landings - and I moved over to Indonesia to work with some of the company's customers before I was ready to go solo. The flying was just too dangerous there! It's surprising how often Gaithersburg comes up in search engines when I'm looking for various things. For a small town there's a lot going on! I'm aiming to head over there some time in the next year or two. There used to be an excellent all-you-can-eat sushi and Mongolian restaurant I was a regular in. I plan to call in there if it still exists! I've been trying to find where it was on Google Maps but none of it seems familiar.
webgyrl
Swift! Wow, Montgomery Mall, to Indonesia to the UK.... that is a little jaunt across a few ponds! My Uncle used to live in Birmingham actually. My family is from the UK. Do you like it there? Did you ever visit the Frederick Airfield? My boyfriend and I like to drive by there. Airfields are so much fun. I wish I could learn to fly. I had a lovely skydiving adventure a few years ago and went up in a little plane and loved it. I am also surprised at how much I see Gaithersburg... funny how you think it's just the tiniest place, but so many people know of it. I don't know the all you can eat place, so I can't help you there. Bethesda itself is changing so much. In fact, you wouldn't recognize parts of it. Silver Spring has totally been revitalized from the hood into a pretty cool place also. Maryland is growing and changing so much! I hope you find your restaurant! Take care!
