Digirunt Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 I currently have a domain registered with 1&1 hosting and have recently discovered this message in their FAQ; Can I have the DNS pointed to another location ? At the moment OneAndOne do not point DNS Records to other Hosting companies or other IP addresses. If you have registered a domain with us you will need to cancel the package and then move the domain name to another domain registrar that does point the DNS. OK fair enough but I notice that you [or your affiliate] don't do .co.uk addresses so will i have to find another company to register the name with and then point the DNS to you? If so who do you recommend? I am with 1&1 because I have several domains with them and they are only £1.99 p/a for .co.uk but I didn't realise I couldn't point DNS to you. Thanks Quote
TCH-Sales Posted July 26, 2003 Posted July 26, 2003 Yes, best thing to do would be to find another name register and then have them change the DNS setting to point at our DNS servers. Nice icon down there by the way! Quote
