jerry Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 Is it possible to allow SMTP access via another port? Other e-mail services allow this to avoid the problem of SMTP blocking or other issues related to the ISP, using another port like 26 or 2525. This would be a great help to ensure I can use my own SMTP server no matter where or what ISP I happen to be using at a particular time. Thanks. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted July 21, 2003 Posted July 21, 2003 (edited) Hi, At this present time, no this is not possible. You should always be able to see your email via the port number given, but to send, you may have to use y our business or ISP own SMTP server. This is not a difficult thing to do and can be easily set up Jim Edited July 21, 2003 by Jimuni Quote
