Spamassassin - What Is Your Required Score

Hello TCH family,

 

What is your required score set to in spamassassin? I have mine set to 4.0..... is this to low?

I find 4 works fairly well - it lets a few spam through, but doesn't catch legitimate emails.

Mine is at 8

but then my default email is set to :fail:

so I do not get much spam.

I use 5 and have the default email set to :fail:

If I see an increase in spam I use 3 or maybe 3.5 and have the default email set to :fail:

Then after a few days I set it to 4 or 5 to see if the spam have dropped which it usually have.
