Henrietta Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I know that I am doing something incorrectly. I know that it has to be something indescribably simple and stupid. I am uploading my site to public_html, it is there, I can see it. On my old host at GoDaddy it would be up. Cpanel is obviously different. It simply does not appear. I have cleared my cache. I have a feeling that Filezilla is putting it a level down from where it should be. I did ask a tech, and he kindly 'fixed it' after telling me we don't get that kind of support. What I would really like is to know how to either fix it or how to not do it in the first place. I am now too afraid of getting my rear end bitten to ask for tech support on this again. Hopefully someone out there has more clues than I do. Since I am currently clueless, please rescue me. Quote
TCH-Don Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 public_html is the right folder If you see the files there with your ftp progam then its right. Has your domain name propagated yet or should I say how long ago did you change the DNS at your domain name host to point to TCH? Do you have a link or PM it to me and I can take a look. Also in your welcome email there is a link to view your site before the domain name is active here. It looks like http://IP/~cpanelname Quote
Henrietta Posted March 19, 2007 Author Posted March 19, 2007 The domain has propagated. I had a site up that needed to be updated which I removed. Quote
