shop-et Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 This is really slowing our business down... So far I haven't been able to do anything on cpanel Unless I ask for activation first... and then wait until someone allows me to do the stuff that I thought I was going to be able to do "on the fly"... I'm trying to creat a sub-domain called "garden" on www.shop-etc.com but the browsers say it doesn't exist... I had the same problem with "permissions" on the file manager a few days ago... Does this mean that I have to ask for permission or activation of each feature every time I want to do something that I haven't done before? I'd really appreciate any help I can get with this... I, and the people that work with me, are accomplished programers and I thought that we'd be able to use cpanel without having to ask for permission function by function... slow and sucky... Is there any way that all permissions can be activated right now so that we can actually use all of the cpanel functions like we thought we would be able to do, without having to ask for "activation" one function at a time... ? Thanks in advance... Bob Quote
Head Guru Posted July 11, 2003 Posted July 11, 2003 Subdomains still require time to propagate. I am on comcast cable modem and your garden subdomain is working fine from here. If your plan allows access to the cpanel item your trying to use it then its automaticly allowed. We dont do add ons in cpanel. Never have! Quote
shop-et Posted July 11, 2003 Author Posted July 11, 2003 Bill... It just showed up on my last attempt... Apparently it takes a little longer to show up on some systems than it does on others... As they used to say on Saturday Night Live... "Never Mind" Thanks for your responce... Bob Quote
