Today if the weather is playing nice, Sweden gets its first astronaut, Christer Fuglesang.

They didn´t go. The weather stopped it 5 minutes before take off.

 

Next launch is scheduled to the night between Saturday and Sunday our time.

Can´t they go in the daytime or evening our time so I can see it.

Yeah, but since it´s the very first time it happens, I would have loved seeing it as live as I can.

They will run it on every news program so I won´t miss it but it´s not the same thing as live.

I've seen many launches on TV, even in High Definition. However, thanks to my job, I'm in the Orlando area this weekend and was able to see it live. It was an unforgettable site! Weather was great! Hopefully the rest of the mission will go as well as the launch.

They are probably something great to watch every time, but I can imagine this was a more spectacular one since it was a night launch.
