iconv Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 (edited) Hi, I'm looking for a new host to run a drupal site. At the current host, there are problems with reaching the hourly max_question MySQL limit, which is set there at 50'000, which is too low for my needs, and they are not inclined to change it. The site is not very heavy on bandwith or storage (700M would be fine), but, it being a drupal site, does use a lot of MySQL queries. I also need hourly cron jobs to run (to keep the site updated). Would this be feasible on the starter hosting account? Edited June 4, 2006 by iconv Quote
TCH-JimE Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 Hello IconV We have many users here hosting dupal websites so I can not see of a problem with your needs. Cron jobs are standard on every package we do. The starter plan only has 700mb of hard disk space, but does have a very generous amount of bandwidth, so if that is not enough, look at the silver plan. However, if the database is 700mb in size complete, then you would require something like a dedicated server. Let us know if you have any more querys or any problems, we are here to help JimE Quote
