Locking Layers

Good morning,

 

I'm using a layer on my pages to hold a table to hold products. I thought that layers can be positioned to where you need them, but they seem to float around in actuality, and drift over on top of other elements on the page. Is there a way to make them 'stay put'?

Never played with layers but we have a lot of Dreamweaver folks and I'm sure one of them will be along to offer assistance.

Hello Laura,

 

In the style for the layer, make sure you have coding:

 

>position:absolute;
left:77px;
top:42px;

 

Obviously put the correct dimensions in for left and top!

Well, I have a unique solution. I'm rebuilding my entire site with Zen-Cart.
