designbydemeter Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Good morning, I'm using a layer on my pages to hold a table to hold products. I thought that layers can be positioned to where you need them, but they seem to float around in actuality, and drift over on top of other elements on the page. Is there a way to make them 'stay put'? Thank you. Laura Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Never played with layers but we have a lot of Dreamweaver folks and I'm sure one of them will be along to offer assistance. Quote
TCH-JimE Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Hello Laura, In the style for the layer, make sure you have coding: >position:absolute; left:77px; top:42px; Obviously put the correct dimensions in for left and top! let us know how you do JimE Quote

flashram Posted June 4, 2006 Posted June 4, 2006 Does it only change when in Dreamweaver, what is it like when you preview in a browser. Quote
