boxturt Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 In case any of you are interested in choral music I have posted some selections on one of my sites from my borough's Community Choir May Concert ("Vienna in Spring"). I've been in this choir for over 6 years and sing tenor. I hope you enjoy. Let me know if the music doesn't work. http://naugatuckarts.org/ navigate to Community Choir > Listen To Choir Quote
cmuskett Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 The music works fine and the choir sounds great!! Quote
boxturt Posted June 23, 2003 Author Posted June 23, 2003 Thank you Charlotte, you're most kind to say so Quote
Singer Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 Very nice! I also have been singing tenor for many years in one of my city's choirs. I would be happy if I could have per-album lists that I could click on so I can listen to a number of the songs playing in the background while I'm working... Quote
boxturt Posted June 24, 2003 Author Posted June 24, 2003 Thanks Rob. I wish I could set up "per-album list" but you know what that would do to bandwidth. The powers that be wouldn't be too happy either as we do sell quite a few CDs via the site. No reason I couldn't send you one though, I'm allowed Tenors Rule! Quote
Singer Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 I understand. Last night, I was clicking through the songs, listening and thinking to myself, "I recognize that. Yup, I've sung that one too. And that one..." Memories (the "Cats" version)! Quote
boxturt Posted June 24, 2003 Author Posted June 24, 2003 I can certainly mention it again and see what happens, never hurts to ask! Whip Thanks again for your kind words. We do pretty good I think for an amateur group. We don't do auditions and probably the majority of the group is not musically trained and/or can't read music. But we have a lot of fun!! Quote
Singer Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 But we have a lot of fun!! That's the best thing I like to hear about a choir! Quote
