musicfrisk Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Thank you for all of your thoughts on building a blog! I'm happy with it for now. Now I need to get into the distribution game. What advice is good and bad here? http://www.johntp.com/2006/04/15/13-tips-t...r-blog-noticed/ How do I add all of that rss, rss2, atom stuff to my blog? Quote
Redeagle Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 How do I add all of that rss, rss2, atom stuff to my blog? What platform are you using? MT, WP (not blogger I hope ) MT and WP have that already included, so do most other major blog programs (except blogger) unless you've made some major customizations, you may not need to do anything. Wordpress (due to the group's suggestion!), I don't see it though... Quote
TCH-Tim Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 If you're using neat URLs, the RSS feed is located at /wpdirectory/feed/ and the Atom feed is at /wpdirectory/atom/. Quote

musicfrisk Posted June 11, 2006 Author Posted June 11, 2006 an introduction to wordpress feeds thanks, but I got that rss stuff fixed, forgot to come back and close out the thread! Quote
backlashforblow Posted August 19, 2011 Posted August 19, 2011 (edited) I have just discovered that blog content, my blog content in particular, is often redistributed via other channels to generate advertising revenue. That was a surprise but not necessarily a bad outcome considering my goals of getting as much info about PPM out there as I can. Does anyone out there have more info about the use and re-use of blog content? in addition, I've decided to join the Technorati service to get a better handle on the world of blog content distribution: My link Edited August 19, 2011 by TCH-Thomas Edited out link Quote
