greenworld Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Hi; couple days ago I noticed two pages of my site which are in PHP and have database related pages (mysql)does not open, I did not changed anything, the page was there since 2003, and no problem on search and browsing the data , now when page loads I get this message: >You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-1' at line 1 do I need to get a ticket? thanks. TCH-Tim Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 A ticket isn't a bad idea. At the very least, if you wanted help in the forums, you would have to provide a little more detail on your problem - such as the location of the page in question, and maybe the SQL code that it is having a problem with. abinidi Posted May 12, 2006 Posted May 12, 2006 Remember that the Help Desk as a rule doesn't support third-party scripts, nor will they usually debug bad code. If there is a server problem, they can fix it. If it is a coding problem, they'll probably send you back here to to the forums to get help. Good luck! Quote
greenworld Posted May 12, 2006 Author Posted May 12, 2006 thank you for reply, can I provide the web address here? as I mensioned this page was working since 2003, so I thought may be some upgrade on server side cause this, either Mysql upgrade or PHP, I am not expert on these. thanks Quote
greenworld Posted May 12, 2006 Author Posted May 12, 2006 I did submit a ticket, waiting for reply, thanks Quote
