greenworld Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 hello; I started to get some spam to my email, which was directed to couple of email that i had not set up , like accouting at mydomain, account at mydomain, etc.. I did follow the tutorial and put ":fail: no such address here" in default email setting ( without the quote), it did not stop it and I am getting even more. any way to prevent this? some of the spam email was directed to eamil that I had as forwarders, support at, service at, today I did delete those forwarders and made new one that could be guessed easily. appreciate your help. curtis Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I did follow the tutorial and put ":fail: no such address here" You should use just :fail: Do not add *no such address here*. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 spam is an evil fact of internet life. As Curtis says just enter :fail: Quote
flashram Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 spam is an evil fact of internet life. As Curtis says just enter :fail: In cPanel mail Default Address Mail, it gives two options, Hint: You can enter :blackhole: to discard all incoming unrouted mail or :fail: no such address here to bounce it. If you wish to send to multiple address, please seperate them with a comma (,) which is why everyone that is doing this is putting the second option :fail:no such address here, maybe that needs to be addressed with cPanel people to make that clearer in its use.
