Can't Use Cpanel

Hi all,

 

for a few days now I can't access cpanel.

If I go to www.birgiteqoa.com/cpanel I get the follwoing error message:

 

ERROR

The requested URL could not be retrieved

 

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.birgiteqoa.com:2082/

 

The following error was encountered:

 

Connection Failed

The system returned:

 

(111) Connection refusedThe remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

 

Does this have something to do with the recent server changes?

Working from my location. Can you get to yout domain name? Is it like this on every computer? You might want to open a ticket and see if something is blocking you from getting to it.

mmmh, ok

it didn't work yesterday from my home computer, and I can't access cpanel from work right now.

I can see the website itself without problems.

 

I'll check at home again this afternoon.

Please open a ticket with the help desk. They can check and see if there is a problem.

Hey Guys...

 

I'm getting the same error....working fine from home, but not at work. I'm sure it has to to do with the proxy here. My last job it worked fine through their proxy. Recently started a new gig and it hasn't worked since coming aboard. And I'm getting to my domain fine...

 

Any settings in IE I can change to let through....other thoughts??

You would need to talk to the IT support folk at the office, and ask if it's possible for them to open up ports 2082 / 2083 on the firewall. You can't change it in IE or anything.
