I've upload all the html and images files to the public_html folder, but when I enter into my site it only shows a list of files and folders inside public_html. I wonder what should I do to have my the first page of my website view when the domain name is enter.

I did deleted all the sub files and folders inside public_html before uploading, but I did download them all to my PC before I do that. Do I need to upload them back to public_html in order to have my site work?

Or I'm thinking is it just because of my domain name hasn't been propagated yet? Since I'm only using http://ipadress/myaccount to login right now... Or do I need to name the first page as index.htm in order for it to be view directly when my domain name is entered.

Thanks.

Yes, you must have a file called index.html or index.htm (or default.html) or you will get the index instead of your page. An easy solution is to make a copy of the page you want to see and name it index.html. You can just rename it but you also have to be sure to change any references to it in other files.
