TCH-Rick Posted June 7, 2003 Posted June 7, 2003 The .htaccess file enables you to password protect directories, set up hot link protection, and much more. I found a website here that explains more. If you are using Front Page it also will use the .htaccess file among others to store information. The file will be recreated and you should suffer no real problem in deleting it. If you notice anything acting strange on your site let us know and we can take a look at it. Quote
