I have gotten 3 of these return messages in my e-mail over the last two days:

01/04/2006 Mail Delivery Subsystem Returned mail: see transcript for details 4 KB

I do not use my e-mail account to send e-mail so someone else is doing so. Is there a way to stop this? Do I need to put in a ticket to support and just what do I tell them what is wrong?

Thanks for any help.

It depends if the email account was really being used to send spam.

Generally, it is a spoofed "from" address, in which case nothing canbe done about it (since it didn't really come from you).

If the email is from your account, then yes something can be done about it.

Post a ticket to the abuse desk, and include the email and headers - we'll take a look.

Thanks Andy for the fast reply. Will issue the ticket ASAP.

P.S. How do I include the E-mail and Header, Thanks.

Just copy and paste, plain text.

The email is easy. The headers depend on what email client you are using;

Thunderbird - Ctrl-U

Outlook Express - File, Properties, Detail, message Source

Outlook - File, Properties

Andy I am using the web interface and Horde to see my e-mail, so I am not sure what to send with the ticket. Thanks Lee

Andy you were correct it was spoofing. Tech support looked at it and said not much to worry about.

Thanks again for the help.
