nancy Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 I check my aw stats once or twice a month and this is the first time it's ever said I had no visits in the last 6 days. Looking into it, I see that the info was last "updated" on 12/24. It's always been updated before. Anything I need to do? Quote

TCH-Tim Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 (edited) If you go to your /tmp/awstats folder you can modify the awstats.your-domain.conf file to put an "Update Now" button at the top of your stats display. In the file, find the line AllowToUpdateStatsFromBrowser and set it to a value of 1. Now you can update the awstats whenever you want. Edited December 31, 2005 by timhodge Quote
Deverill Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Remember, though, that you are responsible for any adverse effects that may happen on the server. AWStats is a pretty intensive program and running it "too much" could cause higher CPU usage and the consequences thereof. Not a scare, just use it wisely. Quote

And there's even a warning to that effect in the config file. This is useful for those times when you find your stats haven't updated for a week, definitely not so you can check your stats every hour every day. Quote
