I just signed up for hosting, got my domain, and have been playing for the last couple of days. Everything works great, and it sure looks like there's an active, helpful community here. So, I'm hoping one of you out there can help me out.

I registered "foo.com" (well, not really, but let's pretend), and got my "main account" username "fooco", and my password, "***". I can now log onto the control panel at http://foo.com/cpanel using "fooco" as my username and password "***". I create a new email account for my wife, "mrsfoo", and she can now read mail by accessing, say, http://foo.com/sqmail and logging in as "mrsfoo@foo.com" with the password I created for her.

Here comes the issue. As far as I can tell, the person with the "main account" password has full access to the mail folders of all the users. That means I can examine mrsfoo's inbox, and furthermore, if I shared the main account password with mrsfoo, she can read mail stored in mrfoo's inbox as well. Is there a way around this?

Hi,

I would not say its full access, you still have to logout, login to CPANEL and access it that way.

Is there a way around it? No, because of the way I just documented it above, and in honesty, thats how it should be, the admin of the website needs complete control and access to all parts.
