zilla Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I've noticed that suddenly the favicons for every site I visit are no longer there. The only thing I've done recently is downloaded the latest Windows Updates... They still work in Firefox, though. Quote

MarkerB Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I believe that IE only displays favicons if you've bookmarked the site. Their reasoning is that you shouldn't be automatically looking for files for each page fetch from a web server unless specifically instructed. Mark Quote
