Counter Maker

I have followed the instructions to make a counter, and clicked on the Make HTML. It says to cut and paste into the HTML page where I want it. How do I do that? I'm using Trellix publish anywhere version, and I don't know how to put the counter onto my home page. I know this is probably really basic for most people, but I am learning as I go! Thanks!

Hi Lynn,

You need to use insert web gem, build your own.

Then paste the html in the box.

 

or you can use the pass thru method

Why are you adding a counter?

 

AWStates in your cPanel gives you the information you need.

 

I do not believe that a visual counter is of any benefit to your visitor and can actually distract from a 'clean' look.

 

Just my two cents.

Also, give the counter a new name, if you use the default one, it will not work (cpanel puts your username in there which it don't like)
