genX Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 (edited) hello every1. i like the plans offered and i am sure i am going to go with TCH, but i need a bit of help/answers before i commit. the host i am with now is going out of business (should have figured lol) and i am forced to find something new by the 25th of this month. i am familiar with cPanel as this is what i have used for a while. here is the CP i use... HERE is yours similar to this? im not by any means an expert at this panel but it is the 1 i used for a while and would hate to learn something completely new (although i know it wouldnt take long im sure) also, i use osCommerce as a shopping cart. is this supported? another ??? is how many DB's are offered to us? i know i will not need many (maybe 2-3) but other places i have seen only offer 1 for same price tag and extra $$$ (BIG $$$) for more DB's. next, i purchased an SSL the day before i found out my other host was closing down. luckily, i didnt install it yet. i use paypal as my CC on osCommerce, but i purchased the SSL for basic customer info (probably wasnt needed but safe none-the-less). they were going to help install it but then ....can someone help install it if i come here? lastly, i use Core FTP instead of built-in file manager for up/down loads... supported? like i said im no expert and these might seem like dumb questions to other users, but i am doing all this for my own personal learning experiences and other things like learning shopping carts. YES I PURCHASE WEB SPACE AND PLAY WITH IT FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON OTHER THAN LEARNING!! LOL thanks in advance for any advice/help you offer. here is my current plan: 1000MB space 15GB/BW-month 20DB's unlimited email blah blah blah im thinking of silver or deluxe plan with you. either 1 is better in $ than my current Edited August 6, 2005 by genX Quote
TCH-Rob Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 Yes, we offer that skin of cPanel. osCommerce is used here by many of our customers. You can have an unlimited number of databases as long as it fits within the space and bandwidth of the plan you chose. Yes we can help with the install. There is a one time $35 dollar fee to have it installed to your account though. You may use any FTP program you wish to upload your files. I know we have customers using Core. Welcome to the forums.
