stevevan Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Using the sample code found here, (making the stated modification of course), I was able to successfully log into squirrelmail. However, after sending a test email, no message was ever received, which makes me think that I was logged into the wrong mailbox. When I changed the "serverxx..." to my website, I received the following errors: (website edited out) >Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/redirect.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/mywebsite:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/redirect.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. Not being a scripting expert, what, if anything, am I doing wrong? (I've got an idea, but I was hoping one of the scripting "experts" could verify it for me!) BTW...I would also like to be able to send the login information a bit more securely if that's possible. (Of course I could just do things the easy way and have my customers use Micro$oft Outlook Express! ) TIA. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I just tried it and it works very well for me. Are you sure you filled out all info such as servername and your domain name? Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Steve, Open a ticket at the help desk, and we'll sort out the open_basedir issue for you. Quote
stevevan Posted June 25, 2005 Author Posted June 25, 2005 I just tried it and it works very well for me. Are you sure you filled out all info such as servername and your domain name? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yep...(that was the first thing I thought of). You can open squirrelmail, but can you receive or send anything? Andy...I'll open a ticket in a while. (Got a few things to do on the "Honey-do" list this morning!). Thanks. Quote
TCH-Rick Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 Try it now. If there are still problems update the ticket with details on how we can test it including a URL, username, and password for an email account. Quote
