Hi all,

I am using the horde webmail program and my default email is birgite@birgiteqoa.com. So whenever I send an email the receiver 'sees' me as birgite@birgiteqoa.com, but I'd like to get rid of that 'e' before the '@'.

So I added a new email address via cpanel - organizing webaccounts: birgit@birgiteqoa.com and set it as default. However, when I send an email with horde the receiver still sees the 'birgite@birgiteqoa.com'.

Probably an easy thing to fix. I just can't find it .. :huh:

Thanks for any help

Hi,

Welcome to the forums :huh:

When you login to your webmail - make sure of 2 things;

1. you login using the full email address birgit@birgiteqoa.com and the password for that email account (not your cpanel username and password)

2. In the setup for the webmail - make sure the "from" address is set to birgit@birgiteqoa.com (it should be by default if you login as (1) above.
