Create A Mysql Database?

Hi,

Needing hellllppp! I'm trying to install Zen-Cart, and pulling my (blonde) hair here It's going fine until we come to the part of inputting a MySQL database user name, password and (database) name. I just don't manage to do it, I have no clue where I get the database password and user name. The instructions said that you might get these from your host, but I didn't find anything in my welcome emails from TCH. I did guess that the database host would be "localhost" as the installer suggested.

I tried to create a database myself in Cpanel, but I'm so confused...there is first a "create database" -field where you only need to put a name and click "Add db", no user name or password needed? Then there is a "Users" -field below it, and I tried to put a random user name and password there, but it doesn't work this way either:(

Can anybody help? I'm very NOT script-savvy, so please speak slowly

Creating a Mysql DB is rather easy once you have the tools to get it done.

Ok, holy guacamole! I did it! Heehee, I have a database! I forgot to click on the "Add user to database" -button!
