For some reason I can't seem to figure this out. It has never happened before. I have a site at www.lucky13tatto.com and it shows up perfect in Firefox. But when you view it in IE it seems to work, then if you click on a link it snaps out and looks really bad. I've made IE work on my other sites,but it doesn't seem to like this one. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Seems to work ok for me (IE) except:

There is a broken image link on the guests page

The events link doesn't work, and it is the only link that displays a map location when moused over.

Some of the images of the tattoos, etc aren't 'faded' like the rest. Which is fine, as I see no reason to fade them and force people to mouse over each one to get a clear view of it.

Ok, sorry.

I tried it again and it worked. Why it didn´t work the first time, I don´t know. :(

Because the first URL only had 1 'o' in tattoo.. :blink:

Thanks for looking guys. I am fixing the main site right now. But I am working on the copy that is found at

http://www.livinginnorthernkentucky.com/Lucky13final/index.html

That is the one that isn't working. And the one we want to use. I disabled the broken links. I am also going to take out the mouse effects do you think that could be causing the problems. I don't really like them either and don't use them. I am redoing this site that someone else started. Maybe I should just start from scratch. :rolleyes1: I wanted to use as much of their design as possible.

Thanks

Thanks for the help figured out the main problem I had nested my PHP include in a table and the top of the table was inserted above my first html tag. Silly me :rolleyes1: However I am still having a problem with the logo images on the left how do you set the cellspacing in IE to not have any.

Thanks

P.S. Isn't it weird how when you ask the question to other people its easier to figure out yourself. I worked on this for 2 hours yesterday. Post topic 15 minutes ago for help ....

here comes the solution lol.

I have viewed the site at http://www.livinginnorthernkentucky.com/Lucky13final/index.html and it is unclear what your question actually is. What "logo images on the left"? The rabbit? The little blocks of color to the far left of each of the navigation/menu items?

how do you set the cellspacing in IE to not have any.

Thanks

To reduce the space between cell contents and the inside border of the cell use:

<table cellpadding ="0" . . . >

to reduce the space between cells themselves use:

<table cellspacing = "0" . . . >

Of course they may be used concurrently in the same table.

Yeah, happens all the time! Seems to happen within minutes after you ask the question!

Looks like I'm late for helping out on this, especially because I knew the answer to your problem as soon as I read the thread title "Ie Problem, What am I doing wrong?". The answer is, quite simply, "You're using IE." :shocking:

Just kidding, of course. I know it's important to take IE into account because so many people still use it.

Glad you managed to fix it :shocking:
