eloieli Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Is it possible to change the prot that Cpanel uses. Mine is currently using 2083 and due to problems at my end I can't access that port and the sys admin can't give me access to it. But, the sysadmin uses cpanel on 2082. So is it possible to have my port changed from 2083 to 2082? Quote
TCH-Rick Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 CPanel uses ports 2082 and 2083. 2083 is the SSL port and the other is regular. You can use http://put_your_domain_here/cpanel to access CPanel over port 2082. Quote
eloieli Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 (bounces up and down) Yay!!! You're a genius. I've been staring this problem in the face for a while now. Thanks for the tip. Heh - typically with computing problems can seem intractable when you don't know the solution, and then when you do know the solution you fell like kicking yourself. Quote
