Guestbook Problem

Hi all,

I installed guestbook on my site www.ourlilbear.com. I used AdvancedGuestBook 2.3.1

It is working just fine but I can't get into the admin area. Says I am using a wrong username or password. I have tried everything conceivable but still can't get in to admin. I used my username and password for the site and also tried a couple of other possibilities.

Any ideas?

Hi,

It was a while ago since I used the advanced guestbook, but I believe you need to enter a username and password in the setup. Thats the info you need to enter when going in to admin.

Open phpMyAdmin

Select the Guestbook database.

Select book_auth.

Now choose Browse.

You now see the admin username and password.

Select edit.

Now paste Code:

in the password field and click “GO”.

 

This will reset your account to:

 

Your admin name and the password will be: 123
