SulkyGirl Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 On my other similar plans w/other hosting companies, I thought they were running the same version of cPanel. But on those sites I can check Latest Visitors, use Webalizer and Analog stats. Why aren't those options available to me here? Do I need to upgrade or something? Thanks! Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Welcome to the forums, SulkyGirl. We used to have Webalizer here and a vote was taken on which stats program to use. AwStats won. It takes resources to run stats. The raw logs are available for you to download and use any statistical package you wish. Quote

TCH-Dick Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 Bruce summed it up perfectly, all three programs provided pretty much the exact same data with a different interface, yet each one had to be updated individually which would cause extra load on the servers. Rather than update three seperate stats packages a night A vote was taken and awstats won out over the other two. Quote
