Hi tony_arc

There are many ways that you can restrict access to WebPages. If your looking for a quick method of locking down certain pages use CPANEL

if your looking for a Membership type login with database where users log in and are directed to a particular page based up login id then I would recommend searching Hotscripts for a php based membership authentication

Also take a look at this

for some ideas..

Tony, the site you linked to is using phpnuke to create their site.

It can force visitors to register, then be approved by the site owner,

then they can log in and visit the restricted pages.

Phpnuke takes a little work to set up, but might be worth looking at.

You can install it into a folder on your site from cpanel > addon scripts.

Or you can put your files in a folder and protect the folder in cpanel

see this demo from cpanel.

Then link to the folder, so only visitors with the password can enter.

You would need a mail form or e-mail link for the visitors to contact you fisrt for the password.

There are many ways, and I am sure your family here will have more ideas
