OK now how do I change the text on the various pages such as main page, check out success, etc. I see the 'define pages editor' in the tools section of the Admin but that only chnges some of the text. I looked for the text in 'index.php' and 'checkout success.php' under catalog/includes/languages/english but it didn't look like these were the right files.

Hi Feen,

What text did you want to change? Like the "Welcome Guest..." on the home page? If so, you are on the right track under includes/english.**

HOWEVER, with that said, you really should take a look at a couple of customization posts over at the Zen-Cart Forum. I can PM you the links if you would like. One of the nice thing about Zen is that you can create your own "over-ride" template, with your customizations that allow you to keep the core code in tact which will definately help with any upgrades or patches in the future. There are a few posts over there which explain the process.

It is a bit to take in at first, but it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. I sent you a PM the other day with my IM addresses in it, don't hesitate to use it, I am happy to help!

**If I miss understood, sorry, I have been awake for 21 hours and I am on my way to go pass out in bed. :)

I was able to change the "Welcome to..." and also the text "Main page sample text" but I do not know where to change the text shown below:

This is the main define statement for the page for english when no template defined file exists. It is located in: /includes/languages/english/index.php

Define your main Index page copy here.

Also, I deleted the PM so I don't have your IM info any more. But I would be interested in the links to customization

HI Feen,

That text is located in the /includes/languages/english/index.php. However, when I was checking on my test cart, I couldn't get it to change. I realized that the index.php file on the server was set at permissions 444 and no matter how I tried to upload a modified index.php file, or edit it via file manager it wasn't "taking" so I changed the permissions on that file to 644 then uploaded my modified file and it worked fine, so check that out and see if that is what is happening to yours.

I will send you a new pm with links to the over-ride information at the zen forum.
