Robert,

Did you install OSCommerce yourself, or did you do it through cpanel? I am seeing some weirdness (besides the images and css not showing in IE).

For instance, your links are showing up without a slash:

They look like this:

http://www.wickedlywise.comlogin.php/

You might double check your config file and see if everything is set up correctly.

Hey Groovy , Yes I did, but I think while you were looking was when I was playing around with the configure.php file ... I think I have it all sorted out now

but if you see any issues still l sure would like to know.

I am going to be tinkering with it until I sort it all out...

Thank you all So much for your patience and HELP ... I LOVE TCH FORUMS and the people here...... It is so Nice to have folks willing to help.

Much better :)

I haven't used OSCommerce in a while (I have moved to Zen-Cart which is a OSC fork), but when I was playing with OSC, this site had alot of useful information: h**p://oscdox.com/

Good Luck!

Groovy, Thank you. Do you mind me asking why you switched over to Zen Cart ?

I am just trying to get a working customizable shopping cart up as quick as possible. I chose OSC because of the people in here that use it as well as it seemed to be the most popular Free shopping cart out there.

Thanks for any additional info

Hi Robert,

There are many reasons why I decided to go with Zen-Cart.

First, because OSC seems to have stalled in their development. Their last release was 7/2003.

Second, because as I was looking through their forums, they didn't seem to be very kind to newbies. (this may have changed since then)

Third, the number of user contributions I would have had to install to get what I wanted. (I can't detail this since it has been quite a while)

Zen-Cart is more feature-rich out of the box, their development is current (their latest release was 12/23/04). The Zen-Cart forum is active and friendly.

I had played with OScommerce several times and would get frustrated and quit. I was hooked on Zen-Cart almost immediately, it just seemed to make more sense to my old brain :)

Groovy Thank you so much for that information. I certainly can agree based upon some of the posts and answers I Read in the osc forums, that they seem to not be so NEWBIE friendly. As for my personal experience there I found them to answer my 1 question fairly quickly without really answering it.

The poster did point me in the right direction though.

I will have to take some time now and go check out the Zen-Cart

Thank you again

Robert
