piotr_redo Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 hello, i'm wondering if there is any possibility to import email adds into webmail, specifically horde - i saw the option to do this with neomail, though it didnt work for me, and I didnt have the time to find out why. either way: is there a way to import, say from outlook xp, into horde? many thanks, piotr Quote
TCH-JimE Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Hi, I don't think so looking at what horde does. What u want to import? Jim Quote
Lianna Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 Oh, "adds" like addresses? Yes, you can do that easily with Horde. Open Horde and click Addresses. Click Import/Export on the toolbar. Select Outlook from the first drop list. Browse to and select your outlook.pst file on your local drive. Click Import Watch the progress bar (it may take a while if your outlook file is very large). Then when it's done: Sorry, I don't have the step by step, but from memory - You will need to 'map' the outlook fields to the fields you want to use in the Horde address book. Like "Last Name" = "Last" and "First Name" = "First" and "Email1 Address" = "Email" And so on. Yell if you have problems. Quote
