Neoklassik Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Hi, As part of a contest I was thinking of offering members of the group involved in the contest use of my site for a short time to set up a web page, which several members offered to help design and a ftp area for members of the group to share the files they are working on and to see others work in progress. My question is will I be able to a:retain control of the site and delete it when done and still give them all access to whatever they need to do. And b: Is a sub-domain with sub-ftp access what I use to do this? Hopefully I'm not violating any TOS.. just trying to help them out. Thanks Quote
TCH-JimE Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Hi, Yes a subdomain would work fine here with FTP access. This means they can only access the subdomain and once its all over, just delete the subdomain! Regarding TOS? As long as PART of your website, you have no extra different domain names pointing to it, it should be fine IMHO Jim Quote
