Phpwebsite

Has anybody installed phpwebsite on their web. I am having an installation problem. I am running setup_config.php (which creates the config.php file)--(the program has a fully-fleshed installation script but...), I keep getting the message:

 

Unable to connect to your server's database.

Please reenter your settings.

 

My database host is localhost. Is this correct? Or do I need another path for connection

 

i know that mysql is working since I have other dbs.

Yes thats correct (well it works on my connection for a link)

Have you named your created and named your database and setup a user before running the install?

Thank you. You do have to create the db before running the script. (The documentation does not say so).
