Remangiii Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 Last night, a couple e-mails were sent to me but didn't show up till this morning. A few e-mails were sent to me tonight and may have taken an hour or so to show up. Is this any kind of common problem? I'm 99% certain that it wasn't a problem on the other end. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 Hi, You would need to look at the full headers of the email to determine where the lag was. Quote
Remangiii Posted November 27, 2004 Author Posted November 27, 2004 It seems like the lag is on my end? It was sent at 11:20 and came at 12:15 my time. I have 1,600 e-mails saved but do have plently of memory...could that be a problem? Madmanmcp Posted November 27, 2004 Posted November 27, 2004 6 minutes is fine. The problem is probably on the other end. athens.imagineeasy.com is coming from Frankfort Germany. Quote

TCH-Rob Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 An hour and ten minutes? Depends on how busy the servers are and if they are having issues communicating with each other. I have had email take four days to make it to me. Quote
Remangiii Posted November 28, 2004 Author Posted November 28, 2004 Okay, I'll hope it just blows over. Quote
TCH-Don Posted November 28, 2004 Posted November 28, 2004 My neighbor is on AOL and it can take up to 12 hours for her to get an e-mail to or from me sometimes. Quote
