  1. I'm setting up Google Ads and I'm not sure how to modify the correct domain register settings (I registered through TCH). I found the "host" section in the domain manager but I am not able to give the host name/alias of "@" that Google requires, presumably because it's a special character. The record type should be "A address." I also need to have a CNAME (alias) record but I am not sure which screen to use for that. The name there should be www and it should use a google id as the value destination i.e. pub-5100213159161655.afd.ghs.google.com. The host name alias uses IP addresses (presumably mine to disable my clicks). Perhaps I should create a host name/alias for each Google request? I'm not sure how to specify a record type (A address or CNAME) and I also have the special character problem. I'm trying to get going quickly, so any help would be appreciated.

  15. Last night, a couple e-mails were sent to me but didn't show up till this morning. A few e-mails were sent to me tonight and may have taken an hour or so to show up. Is this any kind of common problem? I'm 99% certain that it wasn't a problem on the other end.
  16. alright. thanks.
  17. When I try and check my e-mail I get this: Not Found The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/monsoon/mail/webmailform.html) you requested Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this error to your webhost. The "main" e-mail still works but none of the other ones do. My e-mail is still being forwarded to a backup yahoo account, however.
  18. Yes, using that link I get the same results. So what does it mean?

  20. Sorry, but I really don't have idea how to use that?
  21. Alright. Thanks for the quick replies. P.S. What's a traceroute?
  22. If I go to my control panel or try and connect using FTP the connection times out. If I go to the Library and connect using a wireless nextwork it works fine. The only difference is wireless vs LAN in the dorm room. But I guess asking wouldn't hurt anything...
  23. I'm not sure tech support will be intrested in helping me. I'll have to check out the Cpanel File Manager, although that is also blocked from my dorm room.
  24. I can't access FTP because of a university Firewall (File Sharing Prevention I guess.) Friends have told me that I can get around this using a Proxy or Remote Hosting. Help please?
