paingold Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Hi, I purchased a domain thru TCH-- now do I have to pay to have it transfered to my TCH hosing account? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I thought this would be a one stop shop. But it didn't seem that intuative. I purchased my name first thinking I could then add a hosting plan to my shopping cart, but couldn't find a link to add a hosting plan page after the domain name purchase. So I purchased the hosting plan after the domain name transaction was finished. I guess I'll wait until everything is setup and see what happens. Thanks Quote
jandafields Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 You will pay a yearly fee for the domain name and a monthly fee for the hosting. There are no other fees involved. You do not pay to have it transfered to the TCH account. If you purchased the domain and the hosting both through TCH, it will be done automatically. It usually takes a few days for the domain name to start working... Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 They are separate transactions. Did you use the domain name you purchased when you did your hosting purchase? If so, all is well and you should receive your welcome email shortly. Quote
paingold Posted October 16, 2004 Author Posted October 16, 2004 Ok, sounds like it should be all right. I think I entered my domain name. I'm sure I'll figure it out sooner or later. java script:emoticon('Rock%20Sign') Quote

jandafields Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 I think java script:emoticon('Rock%20Sign') should actually be Rock Sign Quote
