Customer Support Script Comparison

I am wondering which Customer Support Script do you find to be pretty good among the rest.

Support Logic Helpdesk was the only one I could get to work properly.

It works rather well.

Ive only tried Help Center Live, which works great, except for one thing...its supposed to beep when some one wants to speak with you live. I never heard any beeps.

Cool. I'll have a look at Support Logic Helpdesk and try it out. I've tried Help Center Live once myself and it seems to have a neater presentation than Crafty Syntax Live. However I haven't used it extensively enough to find out about the beeps. Thanks for bringing that up, Thomas.

Oh hey Support Logic Helpdesk does have loads of features.

 

A question to the person who voted for PHPsupport... did you manage to visit the website lately? It seems to be down, the one on Jynx. I only could check out the one at Sourceforge though.

I've tried a few of the ones listed and to be honest, I'm not impressed.

 

Crafty Syntax and ones like that which run on your server aren't so bad, but the ones that rely on a third party have caused noticible problems ... in short if their server is slow, it makes it look as mine is as well (as every pages containing a live help link makes a call to the provider's site)

Thanks for the helpful comments, Ali. Yeah I must say they're pretty much in beta stages and some even seemed to have not much updating activities going on in the development of the software. Have you or anybody else come across any that is worth mentioning?
